01 · The brief

Hipólito is a casa de asados in Guadalajara where meat is cooked over open fire and shared at the table. It needed an identity with the weight of an old family house and the warmth of the grill, one that holds up on a coaster, a matchbook and a menu cover alike.

02 · The idea

Hecho al fuego, con carácter de historia. An engraved crest of bull and oak, a postal-style seal that nods to Hipólito Bouchard of Bormes-les-Mimosas, and a bold modern wordmark to keep it current. Terracotta, olive and parchment come straight from the fire and the table.

03 · What we made
