How we handle your data.

Who we are

FourthAxis is a design studio run by Karmveer Singh, based in New Delhi, India. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For anything about your data, email hello@fourthaxis.agency.

What we collect

• Enquiries. Your name, email, company or venue, budget range and project details when you use the contact form or email us.
• Messages. Your name, phone number and messages when you contact us on WhatsApp.
• Bookings. Your name, email and any notes you add when you book a call through Calendly.
• Client work. Contact details, briefs, brand assets and invoices for the projects we work on together.
• Site usage. Anonymous, aggregated data such as pages visited, referring site and device type, if analytics are enabled. We do not use this to identify you.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote (our legitimate interest, or steps before a contract).
• To deliver, invoice and support the work you commission (performance of a contract).
• To keep records required for tax and accounting (legal obligation).
• To understand which pages are useful and improve the site (legitimate interest).

We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted services to run the studio. Each processes data only to provide its service to us:

• Website hosting and security (Cloudflare)
• Email (our email provider)
• Messaging (WhatsApp, operated by Meta)
• Call scheduling (Calendly)
• Form delivery, analytics and invoicing tools, where used

Specialist collaborators such as developers or photographers only see project information they need, under confidentiality terms.

International transfers

We are based in India and work with clients in the UK, Europe and elsewhere, so your data may be processed outside your country. Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses offered by our service providers.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Client project files and correspondence: for the length of the relationship and up to 3 years after.
• Invoices and financial records: as long as tax law requires, usually up to 8 years.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under UK GDPR, EU GDPR and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@fourthaxis.agency and we will respond within one month.

If you are in the UK and unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies and storage

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It stores one short-lived value in your browser’s session storage to run the page transition, which is cleared when you close the tab. If we add privacy-friendly analytics, it will be cookie-free and will not identify you.

Changes

We may update this policy as the studio or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
